Get to know Chablis
I'm really happy you've found your way here. Choosing a therapist can feel like a vulnerable step, and I know how important it is to find someone you genuinely connect with. I hope this page gives you a glimpse into who I am…not just as a therapist, but as a fellow human navigating life with curiosity, compassion, and a deep belief in our capacity to heal. If something here resonates with you, perhaps our paths have crossed for a reason.
My path to becoming a therapist began while working as an elementary school counselor. For five years, I had the privilege of supporting children as they navigated life's challenges. Again and again, I witnessed the profound impact of early relationships and attachment experiences. I saw children carrying stories, wounds, and patterns that often began long before they did. Those experiences inspired me to expand my work beyond the school setting and into child and family therapy.
I have worked and continue to work as a play therapist, partnering with children and families to strengthen connections, build secure attachments, and interrupt cycles of intergenerational trauma. Through this work, I became increasingly fascinated by the ways our earliest experiences shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world. Today, while I continue to value the work of supporting young people and families, I feel especially called to work with adults who are seeking deeper healing and self-understanding.
Many of us reach a point in life where we recognize that old patterns are no longer serving us. We may find ourselves repeating familiar relationship dynamics, feeling disconnected from ourselves, or carrying burdens that were never truly ours to begin with.
I believe we all have an opportunity to reconnect with and nurture the parts of ourselves that need more care, safety, acceptance, or love. For me, therapy is not about becoming someone new…it's about returning to who we have always been beneath the layers of protection, conditioning, and survival strategies.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and authentic. I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Therapy can be challenging work, but I don't believe it has to be heavy all the time. I value humor, curiosity, and playfulness as much as I value depth and vulnerability.
I don't believe healing comes in a one-size-fits-all package. Therapy doesn't have to fit neatly into a box, or even an office chair. Every person is unique, and our work together should reflect that. My goal is to create an experience that feels authentic, collaborative, and supportive of the way you learn, process, and grow best.
My work is informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your unique needs, experiences, and goals.
Outside of therapy, you'll likely find me exploring the beauty of Colorado's Western Slope, rafting rivers, hiking desert trails, tending to my garden, spending time with my dog, playing up on the Grand Mesa, or enjoying good music with good friends. Nature is one of my greatest teachers and a continual source of grounding, wonder, and renewal. I believe the rhythms of the natural world have much to teach us about healing, growth, and transformation.
My hope is that our work together helps you reconnect with what has always been there beneath the noise—your authenticity, your resilience, your capacity for connection, and your unique path forward. Through vulnerability, curiosity, and compassionate self-exploration, healing becomes less about fixing yourself and more about remembering who you truly are.
